What’s This All About?
Almost all authors (especially Indie authors) have a blog. Facebook and Twitter serve their purposes for daily/hourly/by-the-minute musings; but a blog allows space for longer thoughts, discussions, and other fun things. Fun things? Yes. I have several friends who are indie authors. Some of have just published their first book, like Melissa Brown. Others are preparing to launch.
While I certainly want to share all things Ten Days and November Blue with you, as well as my progress on Reckless Abandon, I want to support my friends. No, I won’t have my finger on the pulse of all things Indie – that’s what The Indie Bookshelf is famous for, and excellent at (seriously, check them out for all Indie literary goings on). But, I will have my finger on the pulse of my friends and their amazing efforts. I’ll have them guest post, share teasers, discuss projects, do giveaways, and even interviews.
My first interview on this blog will be with Dave Newell, author of Red Lory (to be released 11/2). Dave has graciously given me an e-copy of Red Lory for a giveaway I’ll post about at the end of the interview.
In short, check out the links I’ve embedded here (especially The Indie Bookshelf, there’s a giveaway of Ten Days of Perfect going on right now) and stay tuned for Dave Newell and Red Lory!
